Understanding Training, Cycle and Performance
This workshop invites you to take a fresh, nuanced look at what it means to train and ride as a woman — with curiosity, awareness, and depth.
We explore how the menstrual cycle, hormones, and different life stages influence training, load, recovery, and performance. We also consider equipment, bike fit, and individual characteristics.
At the core lies a critical reflection on common assumptions: what is grounded in science, what stems from lived experience — and where simplifications or myths begin.
The workshop offers space to step back, refine your body awareness, and rethink training beyond standard models.
The aim is to develop a deeper understanding of your body and your performance — enabling you to make informed, intentional decisions in training and on the bike.
The workshop will be held in English.
Registration typically takes place as part of the LA REINE event registration. If you are already registered, you may sign up for the workshop separately.
