From 2027, LA REINE opens its stage to the communities, coaches and Creators who carry women's cycling – with a new programme built on reach, training, exchange and Awards. Save the Date: June 17 in Gstaad, September 24 in Freiburg.

 

 

In 2021, there was hardly a place in road cycling that belonged to women. We founded LA REINE to change that.

With the only Gran Fondo for women in the world – and with further impulses: workshops, training, paths onto the bike that hadn't existed before.

It worked. Today, barely five years later, these paths exist across Europe – in countless communities, often better than we could ever have achieved alone.

And yet something remains unresolved. Elite racing has made it onto television – grassroots women's cycling, however, stays under the radar. Gets smiled at. Rarely taken seriously.

The women who carry it – as founders, coaches, storytellers of their communities – remain invisible and are left on their own.

We asked ourselves what we could do. And noticed something along the way: with 26,000 followers on Instagram, 97 percent women, we had become – without ever planning it – one of the largest stages in women's cycling worldwide.

This stage does not belong to us alone.

From 2027, we're opening it – to you: to the communities and creators who carry this sport. We share our reach with you.

Beyond that, we support your invaluable work with what we have: Train-the-Trainer courses, talks, guidance from experts in sport and business.

Because in the end, we're all pulling in the same direction: more women on bikes.
