Absolutely. Many women come to LA REINE on their own – and make new friends along the way. At Friday’s get-together and at our Culinary Stations, there’s plenty of time to pause, enjoy the moment, meet other riders – and perhaps continue the ride together.

Which route is right for me?

Accepted Answer

You can choose between 100 and 170 kilometres. The 100 km route is perfect if you want to experience LA REINE as a sporting challenge, while still having plenty of time to enjoy the day. The 170 km route is our Gran Fondo distance – for experienced riders who love a long, demanding day in the saddle.

How fast do I need to ride?

On the 100 km Medio Fondo, there’s very little time pressure: even if you ride at around 15 km/h on the flat, you’ll still have plenty of time to enjoy our three Culinary Stations. The 170 km Gran Fondo, with 2,000 metres of climbing, is a genuine sporting challenge. If you’re comfortable riding at around 25 km/h on flat training rides and have experience with long distances, you should be well prepared – with enough time to enjoy all five Culinary Stations along the way.

What if something comes up?

Accepted Answer

Sometimes, things get in the way. If you cancel up to 30 days before the event, you’ll receive a voucher for the entry fee you paid, valid for another LA REINE event or the following year. In case of pregnancy, the voucher remains valid for three years.
