Start & finish in front of the world-famous Kurhaus Binz – a route perfectly suited for the early season: Few elevation changes, a touch of headwind, stunning sea views, smooth rolling, and pure enjoyment. Ride along the beach promenade to Prora, continue via Sassnitz through the national park to the iconic Königsstuhl chalk cliffs, cross the Baltic Sea on the romantic Wittow ferry, and pass through beautiful tree-lined avenues and blooming rapeseed fields. Discover the “White Town” of Putbus before returning to the Kurplatz in Binz.

Medio Fondo

 85 km | 450 hm | 3 ⏱️

More sea views here too – true to the spirit of our wonderful host town, Binz. The Medio Fondo is the shorter version of the full route, but offers the same stunning scenery, charming tree-lined roads, and inviting rest stops. With hardly any elevation, Rügen makes for an ideal cycling destination – and the Medio Fondo is perfect for tackling early in the season.

Fun or Race?

You can have the best of both worlds. If you're looking to compete, simply select the “timed” option when registering. Even in the race category, there’s plenty of time to enjoy the views and the excellent rest stops. Only certain sections of the route are timed, and these segments are used to determine your results.
